If any 4/4 owner really worried about the TR being faster (speculation at
its worst since that would assume it ran and was in tune), all one would
need do is call Dave Bean Engineering and decide just how fast you really
wanted to go. By the way brand new (as in from the factory - painted
black Bob) uprated 1600's are available, or, if one is so inclined, up to
175 hp can be had for the street. I have not seen production figures on
new (i.e. manufactured now, not umpteen years ago) TR engines lately.
