Believe it or not, the current owners of RCA Victor Records
have abandoned the "His Master's Voice" trademark, the most
recognized trademark in the world. Thompson, the owner of
RCA's home electronics business still enforces it, but as far
as I can tell it will never appear on another sound recording
again as EMI gave up up years ago, except as the name of a
chain of record stores. What a waste.
