I agree with all of your great advice to the OP except placing too much
weight on feedback scores. I mean no disrespect to all of the honest traders
on
eBay with high scores. The problem is that so many sellers will not give
feedback to a buyer until they've recieved feedback from them. This benefits
no
one except the less scrupulous sellers with something to hide. Buyers will
tend to be protective of their own scores and out of fear of retribution will
not give the feedback they might have. The losers are all buyers and the
honest
sellers.
EBay refuses to take a stand on the issue. And, if you're a seller, even an
honest one, who doesn't offer feedback upon receipt of payment, you are part
of the poblem.
