I believe it is a bit heavier. If memory serves these were 1500cc units
with thicker engine castings.
We had a discussion about these engines a while back with more
information. From what I hear, these engines are still popular on
British canal boats as they are pretty dependable, though underpowered
for the weight.
I guess they could always double as anchors if need be.
They were used in a number of stationary pump and small tractor
applications here in the USA.
Back in the 80s we had a number of AG type folks contacting us looking
for parts such as glow plugs for these engines. A lot of them were sold
in the Colorado area.
