I'll agree with Don on one thing - if someone just wants a little
convertible, the Miata is an easier way to go. If Robert's friend is
interested in an MGB, I'd suggest that they keep looking for a better
one. This one sounds worth $1000-$1500, plus a lot of work.
Personally, I like the RBB better than the CBB - by 1978 they finally
worked out the bugs with the earlier models (car was too low, engine was
too powerful, bumpers weren't heavy enough, too many carbs, not enough
emission control crap on them, the list goes on).
