As you say I think it was standard. As to why the only thing I can think of is easier access to the air valve and filter for servicing ... but when did *that* have a bearing on how things were assembled or manufactured :o) ----- Original Message ----- Do all remote-servo-equipped MGBs have the air valve in this apparently daft position near the top, or is it just my DPO? ... looks pretty conclusive that this was the standard orientation - but why? |
