No, this has come up before. It's just a quirk of the B. In essence, one
rear wheel well has more clearance than the other. This isn't surprising due
to the many assymetrical features of the undercarriage (fuel pump, exhaust
hangers, brake lines and cable, etc). The maximum tire size is determined by
the lesser clearance, unless one wishes to get violent, that is...
