Big oil wants to make the hydrogen fuel from oil (of cuss).  Trouble is 
the energy equation shows that it takes more energy to get the hydrogen 
from oil than you get from burning the hydrogen as fuel.  Right now, our 
best bet is hybrid cars.  I have one but it's not as much fun as my MGB.
