Are you kidding? IMHO, the middle wiper is a vision hinder, not enhancer. It
has no function other that to meet arbitrary U.S. regulations, and put extra
scratches on the windscreen. (DPOs just love to scrape glass with steel, no
wimpy rubber blades for them!)
