Brake Master Cylinder

Listers,
I'm still dealing with a leaking Brake MC. So I took it out of my 70B and was
attempting to take the spring and shaft out. I can't seem to find the eyelets
on the spirolox ring that holds the spring retainer. How do I take the
spirolox ring off?
 Am I barking up the wrong tree here? Should I bite the bullet and buy a new
MC or can I get this apart and put a new rubber gasket in?
