I was always under the impression that the 4 syncro started in 68 and it
required a larger
transmission tunnel (hump). I also understood that only the '68 Canadian spec
car (and 68 to 76 or
so European spec cars) came with the metal dash and larger transmission tunnel.
It required a
different speaker console to marry the larger transmission tunnel to the metal
dash on the 68
Canadian spec and 68 to 76 or so European spec cars.
Am I wrong about all this?
