I haven't seen either on TV in my part of the UK (we are getting the
convertible ad at the moment) and there is no way that *either* would be
shown on UK TV, at least. It could well have been done with Ford's
connivance for 'release' on the net. Volvo are currently showing what
purports to be a trailer for a documentary looking in to why 42 (or some
such number) people in a small Swedish town all bought a V50 (or something)
on the same day. Stage two of the ad depicts an investigation into the
trailer saying it was a hoax (as if anyone believed it in the first place)
and what's more the supposed director of the documentary doesn't exist.
Tiresome.
