Absolutely none, that was what I chose to do (mine were causing it to 'idle'
at 2500 rpm while warming-up after a below-zero night) rather than fiddle
about replacing the butterflies with solids and risk getting poor alignment.
You can solder them just by removing the carbs from the engine and leaving
everything else undisturbed, but you will need a 50-60W iron, a 25W
electronics iron isn't enough. But if you *do* replace them with solids you
might shave a few milli-seconds off your 0-60 time ;o)
