Yes, I agree.  A whole disc-wheeled parts car could found for a few hundred 
dollars.  I hoped there would be other (more experienced) opinions besides 
mine.  I just wanted to be sure Dan had worked through all the economics of his 
inexpensive MiniLites.  To be fair, Dan only asked about converting the front 
axles.  My estimate was higher however, since I was calculating all four 
replacement hubs.  Lots of good advice on this list though.
