It sounds like it is as much a pain on the later midgets as it was on the
sprites. While it isn't one of my top 5 PITA jobs on a brit car, it is
definitely not one of my favorites. The potential to short it is definitely
real in either case.

Ah, no, I haven't tried it, I just figured it HAD to be better than on the
Midget. Apparently not. On the Midget one problem I've experienced is
shorting out the top posts on the bottom of the bonnet when giving it that
desperate jerk to free it... I think I would go for one of those tiny Optima
batteries if I had one.
