It looks like everyone is right on the 20wx50 and also on the straight 40w or 
rather straight 30w which I use. Most European cars use straight 30 , 40 or 
etc. The real point I think was told to me by a fellow who rebuilds O/D and 
regular four speeds transmissions. The 20wx50 will work, but your tranny has 
more 
possibility of leaking. The straight 30w has less chance as it is a 
NON_DETERGENT oil. I took his advise and a O/D tranny from him. It has been it 
three 
years; no trouble and no oil on the floor.
