Bob,
Moss catalogue shows a drawing of the diaphram, fitted 1962-69,
replaced by the rubber webbing straps for later cars. Moss identifies
the seat frame in its illustration as 62-68, so I suppose that it was
changed for the 69 cars. But...there is that overlap of diaphram 62-69
and seat frame 62-68, so that the webbing might fit the older frame. It
should be one or the other, though, not both. Perhaps someone who has
compared the frames will know the answer to this.
It has been my experience that the rubber webbing is easy to install.
The diaphram replacement, which I have not done, is said to be more
difficult, a two person job.
If the old support is not supporting, you will be greatly pleased by
its replacement. The difference in ride comfort is more than you would
ever expect, and the seat fits your seat so much better.
