I wouldn't go to one of those places. Too many stories of drain plugs that didn't get tightened. It's important to pre-soak the filter, and it's important to use a high quality filter and high quality oil like Castrol. Do some research on oil filters and you'll think twice about a Fram filter or other cheapie brand in your cherished MG. These oil change places are so pressed for time that they don't even take the time to let the crankcase drain completely. They are more concerned with selling their customers air filters, radiator caps, etc. so they can maximize their profits. /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool /// Archives at http://www.team.net/archive |
