Unfortunately, that is precisely my situation.  All the parts are either 
new or have been sitting in parts cleaner for long enough that there are 
no shims hiding anywhere.  I did the other side with no problems, so I 
am pretty sure I have it all together correctly.  Thanks for the reply 
and if you have any other ideas, let me know.  As it stands now, I will 
probably take some material off the spacer to give more adjustment range.
