I'm not sure which pistons they are using at Moss these days, but if they are
the Lotus pistons that require shaving the block by a considerable amount,
I'd give them a pass and buy decent custom pistons that have the correct
compression height.

Very little unless the head is also modified.

Bit more torque, and you can run a bit more compression on the same gas. I
agree - expensive for street use, but I like the results.

Yes!!

Alloy flywheel is too expensive for what you get. If you are having the
engine balanced, have them lighten the stock flywheel a bit.

No, and DO NOT get sucked in by those sorry-assed Mallory dual point units.
Just make sure that the stock one is in top working order, and have it
reconditioned if it needs it.

Don't expect big improvements on the street with mild modification. I dare
say you could spend a few thousand dollars and get maybe 5 bhp - you be the
judge as to whether that is money well spent. At least I didn't see a Weber on
your list (another of the big money wasters, in the absence of head mods - the
only thing sadder than people spending $700 for a sidedraft conversion and
expecting more than the 3 bhp at top end is someone spending $500 on that
worthless
DGV conversion and expecting anything at all!)
