There is more than the finish, they tend to also be thinner. So a socket
has a thinner wall. I've not found where this is an advantage on an MG,
but aircraft occasionally have nuts/bolts which a Craftsman will not
fit, but an S-K will. Same with the wrenches, they tend to be a little
thinner for the same size.
