Strangest episode like this I ever experienced was crossing the Verdigris
River bridge on HWY 412 in Oklahoma a few years ago. Had to stop and clear
the windscreen of firefly juice (we call them "lightnin' bugs" in
Okiehoma).
The whole windscreen was covered in glowing goop.
