Old Tire Q

Hello fellow listers,

Probably this question has come up before but I don't remember having seen 
it recently.

The tires under my 1970 B have been replaced in 1991 or something
(Michelins). Still in very good shape, lots of tread left.

However, is it still safe to use them?
Or should I, now that they are about 11-12 years old, replace them for 
safety reasons?
