Listers,
Time I resolved this annoying problem. Goes like this. After many days
of rest, MGA cranks and starts with full choke. However, once it starts,
it sounds like it running on three cylinders, then as it continues to
run, it smoothes out, all cylinders firing, then another period of 3
cylinders until it smoothes out and problem disappears. For the rest of
the day, no more problems. Then after a period of inactivity(days or
weeks), it does the same thing again. This hasn't affected the car's
performance when on the road at all. Methinks carbs, something sticking
or dirty? What think?
Cheers,
Dave Houser
