Small engine barks
Passenger sits up, startled
Happy driver grins
Disconcerting grind
How healthy are my finances?
That was my gearbox
Not turning motor?
Before spending your money
Always check the ground

Subject: MG Haiku
I'm surprised we've never done any MG Haiku (at least not that I've found
in the last couple years of archives).
Haiku is a traditional Japanese "poem" that is more zen-ish than
rhyme-ish. It has a very rigid format - a 17 syllable verse: First line
is 5 syllables, second is 7, last is (again) 5.
Example:
My convertible
Sits so still in my driveway
Lucas electrics
