There's really an optimum sequence to follow if you want to minimize the number
of engine rotations required.  The sequence is: 1, 3, 5, 2, 8, 6, 4, 7.  So,
adjust #1 with #8 fully open, then #3 with #6 fully open, etc., following the
rule of nine and it only takes a few rotations.
