You may be able to purchase one, but it could not be registered in the
US. And, on foreign plates, it would have to leave the US within 6
months of its import.
Be patient, however. In July a small group of enthusiasts were invited
to MG Rover in the UK to discuss the possibility of establishing the
dealer and distributorship network in North America. Discussions are
proceeding.
