Mine (70 roadster) have been swapped since I got the car.
I didn't even know the difference for a long time, as I have few other B's
to compare to.
They don't adjust front/back, but then again the back angle adjustment
doesn't work either - knowing my DPO some adjustable part broke and rather
than fixing it he just welded it into place (seems he was wrench-challenged
but really liked welding).
The only problem is it jams the handles for leaning the seats forward up
against the tranny tunnel, where they are rather difficult to get to.
The slight difference in angle of the front cushion doesn't seem to matter
unless you are just used to the way they should be.
I'll get around to putting them back the way they should be one day . . .

The driver's side seat (76 MGB conv) has not surprisingly worn faster than
the passenger side. (No cracks about my weight, please) As a temporary fix,
can I swap the driver's and passenger seats? Losing adjustment ability not a
problem.
