For the first 15 years that I owned my MGA, it ran with silicone brake
fluid. Now it's almost through a frame-up restoration, and the question is,
use silicone again, or use dot-4? I suspect it's somewhat of a religious
debate, but I'm curious what people think. The only issues I know of that
differentiate them are:
silicone won't screw up your paint
silicone won't absorb water
dot-4 is easier to work with, since it doesn't form lots of tiny air
bubbles if you pour too quickly
Any advice/opinions much appreciated,
