Back in high school, I helped rig some of these up on a friend's car. We
drilled small holes in the side marker lights and reverse lights, epoxied
aluminum tubing in place, and rigged up a 1-gallon tank, with 3 seperate pumps
and switches. The switches were located in the ashtray, along with the
controls for the radar detector -- the LEDs and beeper were nicely integrated
into the instrument panel.
Quite good at low speeds, but the side nozzles were useless at freeway speeds.
Really, though, the best part was the James Bond effect of the hidden switch
panel in the ashtray...
