You must have meant "... in the US". Alfa Romeo is still alive and kicking
in Europe and elsewhere, and I just read a report that they were planning to
re-enter the US market with their next product cycle.
I drove a 156 Sedan when last in Europe and my impression was that it could
give BMW a run for its money. Beautifully designed, with eye-opening
performance from a1.9L turbodiesel, even with an automatic.
