The "Graduate" was a special edition Alfa Romeo Spider, named after the
movie (in which Dustin Hoffman drove a much earlier model Spider). I think
it may have been released on the 20th or 25th anniversary of the movie -- at
any rate a long time later. It was a sort of "down-market" package aimed at
entry-level buyers (like recent college grads, obviously). I don't think
there was a lot of difference between it and the regular Spider.
Back on topic, I saw a very nice red CB Midget yesterday, with a For Sale
sign. We were moving in opposite directions so I didn't see the price (but
she waved back). In case anyone is looking for one in Northern CA...
