I'm getting ready to replace the gasket at the top of the catalytic convertor on the 79B. The smog control is disconnected. Is there any reason to keep the contents of the catalytic converter, or can I just pour the "stuff" out and reattach? If I do discard the contents, will this impact the carburation/timing/etc? Monte Hoping to get the thing finally running again today. /// /// mgs@autox.team.net mailing list /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool /// |
