Jack:
Apology accepted. It's inventory time and I spent yesterday looking
in bin boxes wondering how the heck can a company stay in business with so
many little itty bitty parts on the shelf sourced from all over the world.
Sometimes it's a bit boggling.
As I said in my post, there are lots of places for improvement.
Your examples are valid, and as an MG owner/restorer I share many of your
observations, and frustrations. Part of my job is to find and fix these
problems.
My point is that there are many, many enthusiasts working all over
the world to keep our cars on the road. Luckily it is more than profit
motive that keeps the parts moving.
regards
Kelvin.
