That is assuming he has the engine out. The message didn't say one way or
another. If I'm doing an engine overhaul, I always have the cam bearings
replaced. But I have also replaced the cam on an engine while the engine
was still in the car. In that case, I wouldn't worry about the cam bearings
unless there were signs they were worn.
