MGB gearbox leak

Hello,
The non-OD gearbox from my '72 MGB has begun to leak oil from the output
shaft.  The tranny has been sitting on wood blocks in my garage for about 4
months.
How difficult is the repair to this problem?
Any info, experiences, tips, etc. are much appreciated.
