Finally bought an MGB! 1977. Body work done; excellent running order ~ sounds
awesome. Fun to work on and a blast to drive~! Would order the brochures from
BL when I was a kid and hang 'em up on my bedroom wall.
The car is almost 'there'. Just a few minor problems I would like to get taken
care of.
1. The only gauge light that works is the Oil Pressure gauge. Checked the
bulbs in all the others which were fine. The DPO did remove the Instrument
Light Adjustment switch (LH side of panel) to install a manual radiator fan
switch. Could this be the problem. Will go back to the wiring diagram later
this week.
2. Infamous crack in DS door skin, behind mirror. Easy fix?
3. How "Hot" is hot when it comes to enging temp. Needle doesn't get to red
zone, but, boy, is it close! Does seem to run better the warmer it is, though.
4. Not a problem, more of an observation -->> Women staring at it (the MGB
that is) everytime I take it out for a spin~ Normal?
