Three big bugaboos might be possible re-engineering the steering
column not to foul the engine/manifold, redoing the elecrtical system
with Miata harness, and whether the height of an OHV engine in the
engine bay causes problems with the hood/bonnet. I've seen this done
in a Bugeye (just barely.) It took a lot of foil-backed insulation
to prevent scorched feet. Come to think of it, there was a Toyota
MR2 for sale the other day on Ebay, powered by three
turbojets...Nomex sold separately.
Rotary is probably the way to go for performance. Hey, what about an
Alfa 2000?...
