Well, As they say, opinions are like a!?holes, everyone has one, even John Twist. The only time you should open the gap up to 0.035" is if you're running a high energy coil, 30-40 KV. The standard coil (~17KV) can cause a miss at high rpm when gapped too wide. And that's JMHO.
