Hello All. Install an overdrive in 1980 B. Overdrive unit was told to be late
LH model. Number on soliod plate indicate it was 75 to 80. Calling for 20
tooth speedo gear. Red in color.
Soliod was damaged and tranny came out of junk yard. Thinking someone. Switch
good for bad soliod and cover. Turn out to have overdrive in third and four
gear. Well, on start up and it stripped the speedo gear. With this tranny
having overdrive in third and four. It would be a 68 to 72 overdrive.
Right??. Call for a 21 tooth gear and white in color? Any help out there.
