It is hard to believe that the crank isn't scored to the point where it
will need grinding to -.010 or -.020. Steel on steel isn't good.
Also, rod big ends tend to get oval at high mileage. Yours should be
checked by a machinist and rebuilt.
You can slap some new bearings in here in situ and get a few miles out
of it, but if you can swing it it would be better to pull the engine and
rebuild the bottom end completely.
