Ron,
Somewhere in some of the TD info I have, this was discussed. "Early"
(whatever that means here) engines had the double connection at the
head, one connection to the tube to the block and the other to the flex
tube to the gauge. "Later" had the double connection at the block.
There was an explanation somewhere, probably in a TSO, that the "later"
position gave a higher reading on the gauge.
My engine, TD3/22308, was hooked up in the "later" manner.
