Ok everybody put on their thinking caps.

I think that I recall some information from a long time ago regarding the
oil pipe from the block to the head.  My engine has the connection going to
gauge at the head and I think that someone said that it was better if the
connection for the gauge line is the block. does anybody recall this or
just know it from past experience?
