Been trying to remove the water temperature sending unit located at the front side of the engine block. I would like to remove the unit and test the temp gauge against a thermometer for correct readings, however all my efforts so far have only succeeded in starting to round off the 'nut' (can only get an open end wrench on it because of the transmitter line) . Other than application of penetrating liquid, does anyone have any additional suggestions to get around this problem? Thanks for any help. |
