A nice replacement steering wheel came in yesterday as the original one had virtually no rubber left on it. However the old hub (and shot horn slip ring contact) is still there because it's so tight. I've applied releasing fluid to it and am about to use a puller to remove it. Has anyone done this on a "collapsible" column? How tight should the puller bolt be and how hard should I whack it so the column doesn't collapse? Regards, Evangelos 73 GT |
