Welcome back Jim!
It still is fun to be a lister here (Netherlands) and there (New England
sometimes)

Cheers,

Hans

Hi,
I find myself replying to e-mails tonight like y'all know me.
I used to subscribe, but have been away for a year or so, so an intro
(re-intro?) is probably in order.
My qualification for membership in this slightly deranged group is a total
of about 20 years of British car ownership, covering 6 cars, if I recall
correctly. There have been quite a few non Brits in that time too.
Current stable includes 2 Brits, a half breed, a wannabe, a snob & a truck:
'64 MGB Rds, owned about 3 years, purchased from 2nd owner.
Much work done since purchase, but not enough to be called a restoration.
Regularly driven.
'62 Jaguar E-Type FHC, owned about 14 years, completely restored from a bare
shell. Regularly driven.
'79 Jaguar XJ6 Lump. Current project. Rust free, but need a little body work
& a LOT of paint. Also needs an interior. Runs like a scalded dog with the
Chevy 350:-)
'91 Miata (thinks it's British, but doesn't leak enough)
'90 BMW 735 (refuses to talk to the other cars, but leaves little spots on
the floor & has its share of electrical problems)
'93 4X4 Suburban (well, what are you gonna drive in the snow & trailer the
next project home with? Bring your dramamine)
I'll try to add value when I can & keep quiet otherwise.
I unsubscribed last time because of the large volume...
Cheers,
Jim Carney
