Hi Joe, If you had only 8 volts at the power lead going to the pump, you have some bad connections. You can't blame it on low battery voltage unless you measured it. Unlikely anyway, with only 8 volts at the battery the car wouldn't have started. Sounds lke you have corroded connections at both the supply and the ground side. I had an intermittent pump problem that turned out to be a corroded ground connection at the licence plate mounting bolt. Troubleshoot the wiring before you spend your money. CR |
