David,
I've got a set of Michelin Rainforces in 185/70-14, and I like them a lot.
Do you have a dealer with the right balancer adapter for wires?
Makes all the difference in the world. IMHO, worth shipping them to
a specialist if you have to. I bought a car with a set of Goodyears
balanced by (?), and the vibration at highway speed was terrible...
Also, buy the best tubes you can. The last ones I got were made by
Michelin. Got them from British Wire Wheel in Santa Cruz, CA. And
check the insides of the tire for rough spots that may poke at the
tube. Tubeless tires today can be pretty rough inside.
