I always understood that "loading up" meant that the engine is getting to much fuel or wasn't burning cleanly at idle and would start stuttering. After running at idle you had to increase the RPM's, the engine would stutter for a while and then, usually, run "clean" with no sign of stuttering. I though this condition occurs quite often on cars whose cam has alot of overlap and the engine actually needs to have a faster idle. |
