Uh, yup. Someone added some unnecessary additional equipment to the car
making it more complex so there are now more things that can fail. And as
everyone knows, anything that can fail, will. My first reaction would be
to throw the excess baggage in the trash and install mechanical contact
points. <flame suit on>
